Whilst it's always advisable to engage in a professional rigger to check your rigging, sometimes this is not always possible, especially when cruising further afield. This guide is a step by step process of how to inspect the forestay of your 1370.
As the skipper of a bluewater cruising catamaran, such as the Seawind 1370, these are essential skills as you become less reliant on external services, and take on your own boat maintenance.
However, if you are not capable or not comfortable to conduct the below forestay check, engage a marine professional to do this work. Learn from them as they do it, understadn the process, and develop your skills to do this level of work in the furture, if you plan to take your boat offshore.
