The steering system is produced by Lewmar at the wheel/pedestal and then our own Seawind steering system for the cross bar and cable system as per our other models.
The steering system has two separate systems that run from wheel to rudder which is then linked by a crossbar at the back of the cockpit. We find this gives a good feeling and control whilst also offering a level of redundancy with two systems able to run independently should one side fail/become jammed following impact.
