Izmir has an international airport Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB), which has direct flights from several European cities by Sunexpress and Pegasus airlines all year long. Several other direct charter flights are also available during summer time from various EU countries. For those to arrive from America, Australia and other continents, the best option is to have a connected flight to Izmir via Istanbul Airport, which is the main hub for all major airlines, including Turkish Airlines.
