Seawind 1600 to debut at Barcelona Boat Show

Seawind 1600 #1 launches in just 2 weeks, and we are pleased to announce the debut of this stunning new yacht at the Barcelona Boat Show running from October 11th to 15th.

The Launch

Barcelona is a special city, and like a few other European cities she is close to some idyllic cruising grounds. The famous Costa Brava starts where Barcelona ends, and the Balearic islands are only a tiny hop for a Seawind 1600. A perfect launch setting for a fast cruising 1600. The show runs from October 11th to 15th, 2017 at Port Vell.

The Rundown

The maiden voyage for the first 1600 will be the short trip to Singapore, where she will be available for a few days of limited viewings before making her way onto a Sevenstar ship bound for the Med. This will be the last chance to see the yacht before her boat show debut. Email us to request a special viewing in Singapore.

At the Shipyard

Although public attention shifts to the debut of 1600 #1, work continues at the shipyard as 1600 #2 enters stage 2 construction. Just this week 1600 #2 left the mold, and construction began on number 3. Plans for #4 are already at an advanced stage with layouts and some equipment determined. The picture below shows work beginning on 1600 #2, Look out for further updates on #3 – a yacht aimed at maximising performance, and is also bound for Europe.
