INBOARD DIESELS

We have worked with Yanmar marine engines for many years, and find the service and reliability to be second to none. On every Seawind with inboard diesel engines, maintenance is made easy: spacious access as well as protection from the elements, allowing emergency repairs to be undertaken quickly and without the risk of being swamped by a wave from the rear.

SALOON TABLE

Seawind saloon tables are a triumph of versatile design. They can be rotated to 3 different positions allowing re-purposing as a dining table, desk, or daytime snack table. And most critically, they lower to become a 4th (or 5th) double bed in the saloon.

TRI-FOLD DOOR

"No mere sliding glass door separates the saloon from the cockpit. Instead Seawind installs its proven Tri-Fold door system, a solid glass and metal structure that won’t leave you wondering whether it will hold firm under any circumstances. It also easily hinges up and out of the way, creating a single indoor/outdoor living space of cockpit and saloon — Seawind having been an early pioneer of the open concept." - Adam Cort, SAIL Magazine

SALOON VISIBILITY

Dual helm stations are found on every model, and offer 360-degree visibility, even on the largest 1600 model. This allows the skipper to sail safely in crowded harbor conditions, and to keep an eye on the crew when offshore.

HELM POSITIONS

Seawinds offer the protection of a pilothouse yacht, with the visibility of and helming advantages of a catamaran. “One thing about the Seawind that I loved was the dual helms, as opposed to the [Fountaine Pajot] Astréa’s single wheel” - Ed Sherman, Cruising Worlde

A CATAMARAN FOR ALL CONDITIONS

"Buying my third Seawind was not a difficult decision to make. I think they are a great Catamaran combining a perfect compromise between sailing performance and cruising liveability. Well built with awesome ventilation, shade and a great steering position make for easy single handed sailing. They offer great factory support and over 30 years’ of multihull experience." - Andrew Stanning, Seawind 1600 owner
